Which Type of Car Produces Your Favorite Exhaust Note

Focusing less on specificity here, which genre of car produces your favorite sound

Is it the raspy bark of a flat 6?

Maybe the lopey sound of a muscle car with enough torque to pull a house off the foundation

Or perhaps the maniacal "judgement day is coming" shrill from a high priced exotic

It could be group B rally, hot hatches, or japanese imports. What's your favorite?

This is just so eerie. There is almost no sound. If I saw this I would think of high pitched f1 cars revving, but no, it's just nothing.

Exhaust note? An American V8 in "Muscle Car" format.

Engine note? Straight six because induction.

V8 muscle,

Pretty much any mustang has sounded amazing. I'm no mustang fan but they do sound wonderful.

Especially when the intake is as loud as the exhaust

Damn, I just realized - the two vids are the same 4.4L Northstar.

Ferrari F355 - the best sounding version of the best sounding engine (flat plane V8)

Second place goes to the Porsche flat-6 of course.

I hope the R version is different from the Type F convertible. I did a PDX where one came out and in Nascar 3 it sounded like an F-150 pickup truck at WOT.
